Christmas Wish List

I havent updated my blog in a while so its about time i posted something new. Well i havent really got much to say except i hope everyone has avery merry christmas year and they get all the presents that they asked for. Me, well i'm angling for an iphone but i doubt i will get one of those as its very expensive, but we can all have a dream right?

Well i have had a flood of subscribers on my channel for some reason, like 40 odd in one day which is annoying cause im moving by the end of the year from Youtube to Blip.tv I can't understand why they all come at once because my videos have been on there for a while now. My youtube flaws videos obviously have some mysterious pull about them, or am i just being cocky?

Farewell Youtube, Hello Blip.Tv

Well its been swell, after nearly 3 years of posting videos onto the prolific video website, and after much consideration im deciding to close my Youtube account to venture elsewhere. Why is this you ask? Well im getting tired of having to fight against the websites constant failings and cowardly users that are giving me pathetic anonymous scores, and i am simply not going to put up with them anymore. Ive made numerous videos on why this website no longer is fit for purpose and now i have completely lost the urge to carry on fighting the Google beaurocracy.

I do appreciate my hardcore fans that will follow me to the ends of the earth, but it is a decision i have to make and i really didn't want it to come to this. So when i feel ready i will make the appropriate annoucement and close my account for good, but fear not as i will not dissapear forever. As i will continue to post videos to my newly created Blip.tv account and now on my Screwattack account for the video game related stuff. So if you wish to keep in contact with me then don't hestitate to subscribe to my new video channels my twitter, facebook, podcasts amd Blog entires and don't hesitate to send me messages.

I would like to thank everyone who has supported mefrom the very beginning , Steviet7, BDT87, Nintendogreg and numerous others for helping me get to new heights on Youtube. Its very hard leaving the website i started off on but now that the site has declined in quality i really have no other choice if i wish to continue.

Ill keep everyone posted with new updates.

CitizenWolf......where art thou?

Yes its been a good while since i last made any contribution to the internet, no i havent been in a serious car crash thank god for that. No its just that i still have major essays to do and they are currently taking up all the time i have at the moment and i really dont want to make a video that is rushed if you see what i mean.

So when i do actually find the time to make some new material i will upload when i feel the stuff is ready for viewing on the internet; so i please ask everyone to be patient as i have some stuff in the pipeline, its just that i currently can't find any pockets of time to really work on them properlly. I think in the next few weeks in the run up to christmas i will then be able to resume with what i do best, reviewing video games. I will review the remixed perfect dark when that comes out on XBLA, untill then keep sending in your correspondance. See you guys later!!

Severe Illness

I have never felt so horrible in ages, massive headaches and dizzyness are words of week for me. I havent been able to get out of bed all day and i really wanted to start work on a new video but sadly thats not to be for now, instead i have to take about 2 tons of lemsip max and 300 gallons of cough mixture to try and combat this virus.

So for everyone who likes watching my videos, i do apologise that i'm currently unable to keep everyone up to date with new material but it can't be helped at the moment. I am however able to write small posts on my blog from time to time so please keep checking it for new devlopments.

The Run Up To Christmas

Well its getting to that time of year again where everybody decides to purchase presents for each other, so as a message to all my fans i want you all to buy me rediculously expensive stuff, even stuff that i don't even need like a PS3 or something.

I apologise to everyone waiting patiently for my next video as its been about a week or so since i uploaded anything, so to makie up for it i have finally completed my second QandA video and is should be at the time of writing availible in two versions, the blip version which is longer and the youtube version which is shorter to fit into the 10 minute time slot.

In other news modern warfare 2 is just simply amazing game to play and Left 4 Dead 2 is being released this friday and i hope to buy that very soon.

Driving Theory Test Passed!!

Today i managed to pass my theory test on driving so im extremely pleased about that. Now all i gotta do is wait for my driving instructor to say when im ready to take the practical exam then i will be able to drive my own car and who knows i may even pop round for a visit; totally unexpected at like 3am in the morning to crash at your place.

In other news i plan to get my Apple vs Microsoft video out the way so i can get to work on other projects i have placed on hold for now.

Modern Warfare: Midnight Launch

Well ive decided im off to merry hill to grab a copy of modern warfare 2, or rather 3 copies as i have to purchase it for my brother and cousin too. Why am i doing this, well the game is very likely to sell out if i dont act now and i really want to have a copy neatly placed inside my xbox 360.

The game is expected to make around £500m in the first few days according to the BBC news report. Theres a huge buzz around the game and i wish i had preordered it well in advance but due to royal mail striking and all that i couldnt bank on ordering off the internet.

I will keep you guys posted as i plan to make a video or two on this new game. Its going to be good...

Quick News Update

Well it was an expensive decision but it had to be taken. My old DVD recorder broke down so i had to go to merry hill and purchase a new one, as that essential piece of hardware is the thing i use to record video game reviews on my youtube account. I'm not sure when i am going to make a new video game review, as im still deciding what some be uploaded next.

In other news my script for my Apple vs Microsoft video is well underway and the video should be uploaded onto the internet by the end of next week, providing i don't get distracted by the awesomeness that is Modern warfare 2. Also my answers to my first round of QandA will be made apparent very soon when i find time to record the audio voice-over.

Man this is seriously going to be an expensive next few months, and i cannot wait untill my next payment comes in next january.

Hardware Problems

Well my faithful DVD recorder appears to have bitten the dust as it will no longer boot up to the start menu. Which means for now i'm unable to complete any reviews because i can't capture the footage, absolutely fantastic. It has freed up some of my busy schedule though and i am now able to actually make some videos that have been up untill now put on hold.

Also Youtube appears to having some technical problems aswell, the my videos section show that all videos are labelled with half a star. It appears that its not just me thats experiencing problems as other users have confirmed this is a glitch that is happening to them aswell. Hopefully it should be resolved soon.

My Thoughts of Halloween 2009

Its been a very odd halloween for me this year, absolutely no trick or treaters actually decided to knock on our door this time round; not that im complaining mind! Maybe they actually got it into their thick skulls that we always show animosity to people who are essentially scrounging for free stuff. Mostly the people in my street usually ask for money rather than candy which really boils my blood, but we do have a death driveway which is nigh on impossible to climb even in the driest of conditions as we shown in one of our Bizzare Worlds on Youtube.

Seriously the only reason i can think is good about Halloween is that at least it reminds me of Micheal jacksons Thriller released in the 1980's.I'm still sufferring from his untimely passing, but nevertheless he will always have a place on my Ipod. #

Arguing On Youtube Is Hilarious

Man i just love having arguments with people; especially if i am the one thats winning it. Youtube is the perfect place to start verbal fights, especially people that deliberately place no effort in their comment whatsoever on your videos. I was enlisted by my friend BDT87 to deal with a certain individual who was acting like a right "bell-end" so to speak. As a short back history, BDT87 was was being harrassed by this nutcase, repeadedly asking for shoutouts on a regular basis.

Ben thus far has resisted his bothersome requests, but now the person has now begun placing comments on the videos which he hadn't done before and this is where i came in. I replied to the idiotic statement and i was absolutely perplexed by the response; was it meant to be joke or a serious reply because i certainly couldn't make my mind up.

Erm, there is a point to this i think....I guess just don't get into an argument with me because you will get your living soul ripped out.

Beware The Apple Mafia....

No, i haven't gone insane with hallucinations of giant apples trying to molest me; no im talking about fans of Apple who appear to be the most prententious bunch of half wits i have ever had the displeasure of coming across.

All i was trying to do was create video talking about the new windows 7 OS and how i thought it was an improvement over Vista; is that such a crime? Apparently it is in the land of the Macintosh computer.

The ironic thing is i never even made a reference apple in the video and yet i have people bitching about how Mac's are better and that Pc's are not as good. I can totally understand if some of you guys prefer Apple's machine but i really didn't expect to be bullied for me choosing windows instead. Good grief it was as if i recently defacated over their gandparents(Yes i will spare you guys that horrible image.)

Ill get my revenge though, you will see i have a nasty backlash video planned for the morons who gave me grief. Oh yeah and more thing, you can stick your Iphone up your backside too.

Windows 7 is...quite good actually!

Well after a few days of testing my new operating system on my computer i have to say im quite impressed. Definitely a marked improvement over the dredful Vista that i have had to put up with for a year or so; i have collected my thoughts on the operating system into a very nice video format which you guys can watch. I will upload it to Youtube first then i will host on Blip.tv where you can download in Ipod format for those on the go.

I don't want to give too much away here but its pretty obvious what you should do if you own Vista on your computer (besides throwing it out of a nearby window of course!)

Windows 7 Upgrade

Allright, i decided to dig deep and splash out on Windows 7. Why you ask? It's so simple i reply and there are no prizes for the correct answer....Vista sucks, plain and simple. I brought the version where you can install it onto 3 machines so ive spread the cost out a fair bit.

I will probably give my impressions in a new video when ive installed it onto my computer, to let you guys know what elements have been improved.

Professionals say that performance has improved to a certain degree, which is awesome as i edit videos an awful lot; i will not want my processor working to hard unnecessarilly. Hopefully Microsoft has come to their senses and released an OS that actually works as to me personally its all gone downhill since XP.

Patronising Much?

Well as you all know that Youtube at times can be a complete a**hole, you will know this fact if you are an avid follower of my vlogs and such. However i am always amazed at how the website can keep suprising me with new levels of severe iritation.

Today i recieved a comment on my Rock Band vs Guitar Hero video commenting how the video wasn't that particularly great. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, even bad ones but that is not why I feel insulted.

I got p***ed off at the fact that he compared us to more professional productions on the Escapist and Gamespot being superior. WELL NO S**T SHERLOCK!! You do realise that you are on YOUTUBE for independent film makers to make content. I really do apologise that i don't have the resources (or talent) to re-create the diamond encrusted material that satisfies your rediculously high standards but that is just the way it goes.

Professional publications are superior, you want to know why? Well they have more money, More people, better cameras....I could go on and on. I really don't need someone pointing out that fact to me when its so damn obvious, or at least i thought it was.

Democracy is flawed when it is given to idiots, they take it for granted.

Astro Ignition Podcast Queries

Now im still totally baffled on what actually to do with my solo podcasts. Other than talking about what happened on my Youtube channel there really isn't that much to mention quite frankly. So as a tester session in episode 7 (Uploading as i write this) i decided to add a QandA section to it. Basically for fans of my Youtube channel you can ask me a question then i will cover it in the next episode. You can ask me anything along the lines of.....

Social Networking Madness

Well, its safe to say that i'm pretty exhausted. After making perhaps the biggest mistake of joining just about every social networking in the universe i have given myself a behemoth task of keeping everyone up-to-date. Thankfully the videos i post on Youtube and blip will automatically will shown on facebook and twitter so if your not following me on either of those then feel free to click one of the links on the right of my blog.

Also as a new feature i have created my video podcast link where you can download my Blip.Tv videos right onto your ipod. This is also found on the right and you can then subscribe to the feed via the lovely medium of Itunes.

I'm currently uploading Youtube Flaws episode 5 talking about the Hulu-Tube story and why it has the potential to obliterate the small independant film-maker on the site. 500 Subscribers Milestone Reached

Wow, my Youtube page has finally got 500 subscribers....500 people actually watch my videos. Who would have thought it eh? Anyway, to commemorate this event i have filmed a 2 part vlog giving people shoutouts who actually deserve them. Now people don't get p***ed with me because i didnt give you a shoutout, its most likely because i havent really gotten familiar with your channel or less likely that you actually don't actually deserve one. I have also fixed the HD issues that were present in last vlog so this set of videos when ready should work fine. Now in the mean time look at this really ugly photo of me. Please Enjoy!!
